Dobuy, Data and Design (Dx3, pronounced "D times 3") is a business I run alone. I'm Khadija Khalil, more widely known by my pseudonym, Umm Muawiyah. I do all of Dx3's services myself; nothing is outsourced.
is a play on "Dubai," often seen as a shopping haven, though there is far more to the city and the wider UAE. It represents my Itinerary Planning and Photography services (every photo on this site is my own), now based at More Than Just Do Buy.

I started out studying Computer Engineering at the American University of Sharjah and worked at an IT company for a while. Then, Allah guided me to become a student of Islamic knowledge in 2004 and a caller to Islam in 2008. Since then, I have taught multiple courses and written hundreds of articles, alhamdulillah.
My technical and Islamic backgrounds came together when I launched Al-Bidaayah in 2016, the Islamic writing website I still run today, self-hosted on WordPress with the setup and plugins managed by me as well.
In 2020, I moved into AI with an online postgraduate certification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Texas at Austin, and have kept learning since.
AI, however, is not the most important thing in my life, nor is money. My religion comes first. That is why everything I do through Dx3 aims to follow Islamic guidelines properly. There is no point in earning wealth at the expense of displeasing Allah, the Most High.
